Recycle the Fall

Recycle the Fall is a citywide, curbside leaf collection program that runs from November 1 to December 2nd, 2016.

Boise residents are encouraged to participate in this year’s Recycle the Fall.  Participation is easy and curbside leaf collection is free.  Here are some helpful tips:

  • Leaves must be in large paper leaf bags in order to be recycled
  • No plastic yard/garbage bags will be collected
  • Set out on your regular trash day before 7 a.m. (collected between 7:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.)
  • Set leaf bags at the curb or in the alley at least three feet away from your trash cart and leave bags open
  • Garden wastes are also allowed in the leaf bags
  • No branches or woody material will be accepted in the paper leaf bags
  • Please do not put leaves in your blue recycle cart
